Noodle-seafood Soup * Recipe

Ingredients:
5 cup: Water,
1 lbs: Green cabbage, cored and coarsely shredded, (4 cups)
1 large: Carrot, shredded
2 package: , (3 oz.) chicken or shrimp flavor Oriental soup with seasoning packets
8 ounce: Flaked imitation crabmeat, thawed if frozen
1/2 cup: Scallions, sliced
1 tsp: Oriental sesame oil,
Soy sauce, to taste
Directions:
Servings: 4 (makes 8 cups) Put water, cabbage, carrot and contents of
seasoning packets in a 3 quart pot. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce
heat and simmer 5 minutes. Break nookles in half and add to pot with
crabmeat and scallions. Simmer 2 to 3 minnutes until noodles are
tender. Remove from heat and stir in sesame oil. Serve with a crisp
cucumber salad. Offer soy sauce at the table.
