Italian Style Macaroni & Cheese Recipe

Ingredients:
8 ounce: Elbow macaroni,
4 ounce: Ham, coarsely chopped
2 tbsp: Butter or margarine,
1/4 cup: Basil, chopped
2 tbsp: Flour,
2 cup: Sargento 6 Cheese Italian,
1 3/4 cup: Milk,
-Recipe Blend, divided
1/2 tsp: Salt,
Fresh ground pepper,
1/8 tsp: Cayenne pepper,

Directions:
Cook macaroni according to package directions. In large saucepan melt
butter over medium heat. Add flour; stir 1 minute. Add milk, salt
and cayenne pepper; heat to a boil, stirring constantly. Drain
macaroni; add to saucepan. Toss to coat with sauce. Remove from
heat; add ham and basil; toss again. Transfer half of macaroni
mixture to greased shallow baking dish. Top with 1 cup cheese.
Repeat layering with remaining macaroni mixture and remaining 1 cup
cheese. Bake uncovered at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve with
freshly ground pepper.
