Bramborova Polevka Zasmazena (creamed Potato Soup) Recipe

Ingredients:
1 1/4 lbs: Potatoes, peeled, cubed
1/2 cup: Onion, chopped
3 ounce: Root vegetables, chopped
1/3 cup: Shortening,
1/3 cup: Flour,
6 cup: Water,
3 ounce: Mushrooms, fresh
Salt,
1 each: Garlic clove, crushed
1 pinch: Marjoram,
Parsley, chopped
Directions:
Fry root vegetables in the shortening. Sprinkle with flour and fry
until golden brown. Cover with cold water, stir well. Add mushrooms
and potatoes, boil for about 20 minutes. Finally, add garlic, salt,
marjoram and reheat. Flavor with chopped parsley as needed.
