Bran Muffins #1 Recipe

Ingredients:
1 Box: , (15-oz) raisin bran
3 cup: Sugar,
5 cup: Flour,
5 tsp: Soda,
2 tsp: Salt,
1 1/2 tsp: Cloves,
2 tsp: Nutmeg,
3 tsp: Cinnamon,
4: Eggs, beaten
1 cup: Oil,
1 quart: Buttermilk,
2 tsp: Vanilla,
3 package: Dried fruit bits,
2 cup: Nuts,
Directions:
Cook fruit in water until done. Drain. Mix dry ingredients. Add
remaining ingredients. Bake in muffin tins at 400 degrees for 20
minutes -- if using miniature muffin tins, reduce baking time to 15
minutes.
Dont know where this came from originally, my mother had it in her
recipe box, but anytime I make these, everyone raves!
