Mrs. Lyons Lemon Bread Recipe

Ingredients:
6 tbsp: Margarine,
1 cup: White sugar,
2: Eggs,
1 1/2 cup: Flour,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1 tsp: Baking powder,
1/2 cup: Milk,
1: Grated rind of lemon,
1/2 cup: Nuts,

Directions:
Cream sugar and margarine, add beaten eggs , add milk alternately
with dry ingredients. Add the lemon rind and walnuts. Bake in loaf
pan 1 hour in 350 oven. When baked pour over bread while still in pan
the juice of lemon mixed with 1/2 cup of sugar, let cool.
