Navy Minced Beef (sos) Recipe

Ingredients:
2 lbs: Ground Beef,
3/16 lbs: Onions, chopped
3 ounce: General purpose flour,
30 2/3 ounce: Canned tomatoes, crushed
1/16 ounce: Mace, ground -or Nutmeg
1/8 ounce: Salt,
3/16 tsp: Pepper,
Directions:
1. Cook beef with onions in its own fat until beef loses its pink
color, stirring to break apart. Drain or skim off excess fat. 2.
Sprinkle flour over beef; continue cooking until flour is absorbed.
3. Add tomatoes, mace or nutmeg, salt and pepper. Stir well. Simmer
10 to 15 minutes. 4. Serve over Toast, biscuits, rice or pasta.
