Cinnamon Swirl Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Shortening,
1 cup: White sugar,
2 tbsp: Cornstarch,
2 tbsp: Vinegar,
1/2 tsp: Baking powder,
1/2 tsp: Baking soda,
1/4 tsp: Salt,
1 cup: Water,
2 cup: White flour,

FILLING & TOPPING
1 tbsp: Cinnamon,
2 tbsp: White sugar,

Directions:
Cream together shortening & sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients in
order & mix till well combined. Combine sugar & cinnamon & mix.
Grease & flour a loaf tin. Divide batter into thirds. Layer one third
of the batter in the bottom of the loaf pan. Sprinkle with
cinnamon/sugar mixture. Layer with another third of the batter &
sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar. Spread out last part of the batter.
Slice through the batter at various points with a knife to create the
marbled effect. Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon/sugar. Bake at 350F
for 1 hour or until the loaf tests done.
