Red Cabbage With Beer Recipe

Ingredients:
1 medium: Red cabbage, shredded
1/2: Red wine vinegar,
2: Granny smith apples, peel/co
1/2 cup: Sugar,
3/4 cup: Water,
1 medium: Onion, diced
1/4 cup: Butter,
1/2: Beer,
sm Bay leaf,
Pinch of cinnamon,
Pinch of ground cloves,
Pinch of allspice,
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:

ingredients in a covered pot (I always use one of my Le Cruesets) and
bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook slowly for about an hour. Taste
and adjust seasonings. If theres too much liquid, uncover and cook
until most of the liquid is evaporated.
