Smothered Cabbage Rue Chartres Recipe

Ingredients:
1 Small: onion, chopped
1/4 lbs: Salami OR hot sausage,
1 Head: cabbage, coarse chop
1 tsp: Salt,
1/2 tsp: Pepper,
1 tbsp: Pareve margarine,
Directions:
Saute onion and meat in margarine. Add cabbage (with water still
clinging to leaves from washing), salt, and pepper. Cover and cook
over low heat for abt. 2 hrs.
