Sonny Bryans Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:
2 tbsp: Oil or bacon drippings,
1 medium: Onion, slivered
4 Cloves: garlic, chopped
28 ounce: Crushed tomatoes,
1 1/2 cup: Ketchup,
1 cup: Fresh orange juice,
6 tbsp: Fresh lemon juice,
6 tbsp: Red wine vinegar,
1/2 cup: Water,
2 tbsp: Liquid smoke,
1/4 cup: Honey,
1/2 cup: Packed brown sugar,
3 tbsp: Crystallized ginger --,
Finely chopped,
2 tbsp: Dark molasses,
1 tbsp: Worcestershire sauce,
1/4 tsp: Tabasco sauce,
2 tbsp: Chile powder,
1 tbsp: Ground coriander,
1 tbsp: Dry mustard,
1 tsp: Salt,

Directions:
Sautee onion until golden. Add garlic for one minute. Add remaining
ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes stirring
frequently.

Hmm... I would replace the water with a nice malty beer. Paulaner
Oktoberfest or Dos Equiis. And use a couple of chipotles in adobo
instead of liquid smoke. They use the jock straps of the volunteer
fire department to make that stuff.
