Gramps Microwave Peanut Brittle Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Sugar,
1/2 cup: White Karo syrup,
2 cup: Peanuts,
1 tbsp: Margarine or butter,
1 tsp: Vanilla,
1 tsp: Soda,
1/8 tsp: Salt, optional
Directions:
Combine sugar and syrup in a quart microwave container and microwave
on high for five minutes.
Remove from microwave and stir in peanuts.
Microwave on high for two minutes; stir and microwave for two
minutes; stir and microwave for one minute.
Remove from microwave. Stir in margarine, vanilla, salt and soda.
Pour onto a buttered cookie sheet and let cool. When hardened, break
into pieces.
