1 1/2 cup: Sugar, short
2 cup: Flour,
1 quart: Milk, short
1 pint: Persimmon pulp,
2: Eggs,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1/2 tsp: Soda,
1/2 tsp: Baking powder,
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt. Mix together pulp, sugar and
soda. Add beaten eggs and milk. Add sifted dry ingredients. Bake in
a slow oven, 2 1/2 hours.
