Steak & Onion Salad Recipe

Ingredients:
1 lbs: Flank steak,
1 1/4 tsp: Salt,
1/4 tsp: Ground black pepper,
4 cup: Leaf lettuce, in pieces
1 medium: Onion, thinly sliced (2 c)
2 cup: Cucumber, thinly sliced
1 cup: Sweet red bell pepper, sliced
1/4 cup: Olive oil,
3 tbsp: Lime juice,
1/4 cup: Fresh dill, chopped

Directions:
Preheat broiler. Season steak with 1/4 tsp of the salt and 1/8
teaspoon of the ground black pepper.

Broil 1 to 2 inches from the heat until desired doneness (3 to 4
minutes per side for medium-rare).

Cut into thin slices; cool slightly. Place in a large salad bowl with
lettuce, onions, cucumber and red pepper, set aside. In a cup, combine
olive oil, lime juice, dill and remaining 1 teaspoon salt and 1/8
teaspoon black pepper; pour over salad; serve immediately.
