Guisadong Sitao (sauteed Long Beans) Recipe

Ingredients:
YIELD: 5 SERVINGS
3 cup: Chinese long beans (sitao), cut into 2-inch pieces
1 each: Tb vegetable oil,
2 each: Clove garlic, minced
2 medium: Onion, sliced
1 medium: Tomato, sliced
1/2 cup: Sliced pork,
1/2 cup: Shrimp, shelled
1/4 cup: Shrimp juice, optional
1 each: Tb soy sauce),
Salt and pepper to taste,
Directions:
In a skillet over medium heat, saute garlic in oil until lightly
browned. Add onion and tomato slices and cook for 2 minutes. Add pork
and soy sauce. Simmer for about 15 minutes or until pork is tender.
Add shrimps, long beans, shrimp juice, a little salt and pepper, and
let cook for another 10-15 minutes or until long beans are tender.
Correct seasoning to taste. Transfer to a serving container and serve
immediately. Serves 4-5 Note: Green beans can be used in palce of the
long beans in this recipe.
