Ingredients:
4 slice: Bacon cubed,
1: 8oz can tomato sauce,
1/4 cup: Butter,
1: 10oz can beef broth,
3 lbs: Chuck or sirloin, cubed
1 tsp: Garlic powder,
2 1/2 tbsp: Wondra flour,
2 cup: Dry red wine,
1: 10oz can golden mush. soup,
ds Of Kitchen Bouquet,
1 package: Dry onion soup mix,
1/2 lbs: Sliced mushrooms,

Directions:
This is an elegant dish with large chunks of tender beef, smothered in a
rich, thick, red wine sauce, swimming with delicate slices of mushrooms,
and served over your favorite pasta or rice. Truly. a piece de no
resistance! Who knows what will happen?

Fry bacon in butter. Dust meat with flour and brown in the bacon and
butter mixture. Add soup and soup mix (dump mix in a bowl stir to blend
all ingredients and use half save remainder for other purposes), tomato
sauce, beef broth, and garlic powder. Salt will probably not be needed
due to the use of bacon. Mix well and bring to a boil on the stove top.
Place in oven and bake for 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours at 350 degrees. Add the
mushrooms during the last 30-45 minutes. Serve over noodles or rice.
