Party Layer Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
1 package: Vanilla cake mix,
1 cup: Water,
1/3 cup: Oil,
3: Eggs,
1 tsp: Lime peel, grated
3: dr Green food coloring,
1/2 cup: Whipping cream, whipped
1 can: Vanilla Funfetti Frosting,
Orange, lemon and lime candy
Fruit slices,
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour two 8" round cake pans. Prepare
cake mix according to package directions. Pour half of batter into
one greased and floured pan. Add lime peel and food coloring to
remaining batter. Pour green batter into other greased and floured
pan. Bake at 350 for 25 to 35 minutes. Col 15 minutes; remove from
pans. Cool completely. In small bowl, combine whipped cream and
frosting; blend well. To assemble cake, split each layer in half
horizontally to form 4 layers. Alternate green and yellow cake
layers spreading frosting between layers. Frost top and sides of
cake with remaining frosting. Sprinkle top of cake with decorator
sprinkles. Decorate as desired with candy fruit slices. Store in
refrigerator.
