Wine Sauce {fredericksburg} Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Sugar,
1/2 cup: Butter,
1: Well-beaten egg,
3/4 cup: Wine,
1 pinch: Nutmeg,
1/2 tsp: Lemon extract,
Directions:
Mix and before serving set in a bowl of hot water until warm. Do
not cook. Stir until well blended. Especially good served over
bread pudding or rice puddings.
