Montauk Poached Salmon Recipe

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup: Chablis or other dry white,
1/4 tsp: Dried whole basil,
-wine,
1/8 tsp: Pepper,
1/2 cup: Water,
4: , (4-ounce)salmon fillets**
2 tbsp: Lemon juice,
1 small: Onion, sliced
1: Bay Leaf,
1 medium: Tomato, peeled and sliced
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1/2 cup: Fresh Mushrooms, sliced
1/2 tsp: Dried whole thyme,

Directions:
Instructions:

Combine first 8 ingredients in a 10-inch skillet, stirring well; bring
mixture to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmed 10 minutes. Layer
fillets, onion, tomato, and mushrooms in wine mixture; cover and
simmer 8 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
Transfer fish and vegetables to a serving platter.
