Golden Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup: Flour, all-purpose
2: Eggs, well beaten
1 tsp: Baking powder,
1 2/3 cup: Milk, evaporated, undiluted
1/4 tsp: Salt,
1 1/2 lbs: Shrimp, shelled and deveined
3-MINUTE CHEESE SAUCE
1 2/3 cup: Milk, evaporate, undiluted
2 cup: Cheese, American process,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
-shredded,
2 tsp: Mustard, dry
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add eggs and evaporated
milk. Blend. Dip shrimp in batter and cook in hot shortening (375
degrees) for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Drain on
absorbent paper. Serve with 3-Minute Cheese Sauce.
3-Minute Cheese Sauce: Simmer evaporated milk, salt, and mustard in
saucepan over medium heat to just below boiling (about 2 minutes). Add
cheese; stir over medium heat until cheese melts (about 1 minute
longer). Yield: 2-1/2 cups.
