Meat And Rice Filling Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 lbs: Lean ground beef/lamb,
1/2 tsp: Ground cinnamon or 1/4,
1 3/16 cup: Rice washed and drained,
-teaspoon allspice or 1/2,
1 each: Tomato skinned and chopped,
ts Dried basil/marjoram,
2 tbsp: Finely chopped parsley,
1: -2 tablespoon,
Salt and black pepper,
-raisins/pine nuts optional,
Directions:
Put the lamb, rice, tomato, parsley, salt, pepper and cinnamon and
raisins and/or pine nuts in a bowl and knead very well by hand until
thoroughly blended. Fill vegetables no more than three-quarters full,
to allow for the expansion of the rice. Use cooked rice if vegetables
are to be baked.
