Aunt Bees Kerosene Cucumbers Recipe

Ingredients:
Cucumbers,
6 t: Whole spices,
1 bunch: Dill,
6 each: Lumps alum,
6 each: Hot peppers,
1 quart: Cider vinegar,
6 each: Cloves garlic,
2 quart: Water,
6 slice: Onion,
1 cup: Salt,
Directions:
Wash and dry enough cucumbers for six sterilized 1 quart jars. In the
bottom of each jar place a portion of the dill, 1 hot pepper, 1 clove
of garlic, 1 slice of onion, 1 tsp whole spices, a small lump a lum,
and cucumbers. In a saucpean combine the vinegar, water, and salt.
let the mixture come to a rolling boil, then pour into the jars.
