Cookoff Brunswick Stew Wip 10/9/92 "tooties" Recipe

Ingredients:
1 large: Chicken, put in pot whole
1 gallon: Tomatoes, canned, whole
-& taken out after 45 min,
-cut up with scissors,
-& deboned & added back,
1 gallon: Creamed Corn, Canned
3 lbs: Beef, Round Roast
1 quart: Pork and Beans, fresh off
-hand cut into 1" bits,
-the tree,
1 lbs: Sausage, Hot, chunked
42 ounce: Catsup,
1 lbs: Sausage, Wimpy,chunked
1/3 cup: Vinegar, apple cider
2 lbs: Onion, Yellow/White, chunked
1/3 lbs: Butter,
-Vidalia onions, add more
1/3 cup: Salt, seenote
1 large: Jalapeno, Hot, sliced
4 ounce: Worcestershire,
1 large: Yellow Bell Pepper, chunked
Directions:
seenote: salt, adjust seasoning AFTER cooking, there is plenty of
salt in the sausage, tomatoes, corn, catsup, and butter. only add the
salt if it tastes like it needs it...
Cut up the stuff and add it to the pot. Keep the fire low and stir
often until everything is hot and good.
The last time this recipe was entered was at the Chile Cookoff at
Stone Mountain Park... 10/3/92 it coulda won...... Shoulda......
