New Orleans Rice Pudding Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Uncooked rice,
1 tsp: Vanilla extract,
1 quart: Milk,
1/2 cup: Raisins,
8 tbsp: Butter,
5: Eggs, beaten
3/4 cup: Sugar,
1 tsp: Cinnamon,
Directions:
Combine rice and milk. Bring to a boil, cover and cook over low heat
until rice is tender and has absorbed most of the milk. Add butter,
sugar, vanilla, raisins and eggs. Turn into a buttered 2-quart
casserole dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
Serves 6-8.
