Boiled Fruit Cake Recipe
Yield: 1 servingsRecipe by luhu.jp
Ingredients:
1 lbs: Mixed dried fruit,
1 t: Baking powder,
1 cup: Water,
1 1/2 t: Mixed spices,
1/2 cup: Margarine,
2 each: Eggs,
1 t: Baking soda,
Nuts and flavouring,
1/2 cup: Sugar,
-, optional
ds Of vinegar,
2 ounce: Brandy, optional
2 cup: Flour,
Directions:
In saucepan, mix together the first 6 ingredients. Bring to a boil
and simmer for about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
When cool, add the remaining ingredients and mix until blended.
Spoon into pans and bake at 300F for about 1-1/2 hours. Will fill an
8 inch square pan, or loaf pans. Origin: Kathy Davis (my Avon lady)
