Viennese Sauerkraut With Potato+ Recipe

Ingredients:
1 medium: Onion, chopped
-replaced by water,
2 tbsp: Bacon or pork fat,
1/2 tsp: Caraway seeds,
2 cup: Sauerkraut,, 16 oz. can
3/4 cup: White wine,
-drained, rinsed and liquid
1 medium: Potato, peeled and grated

Directions:
Saute onion in fat until tender. Add remaining ingredients except
potato. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Add grated potato and simmer
for another 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
