Apple Raisin Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Butter, softened
1/2 cup: Shortening,
1 1/2 cup: Sugar,
2: Eggs,
2 1/4 cup: Flour,
1 tsp: Baking soda,
1/4 tsp: Salt,
3 cup: Malt-O-Meal Apple Cinnamon Os Cereal, (like Apple Cinnamon Cheerios)
1 cup: Raisins,
1/4 cup: Sugar,
2 tsp: Cinnamon,
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400*F. In large mixing bowl beat first four ingredients,
continue beating until fluffy. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly
add to bowl while mixing on low. Stir in cereal and raisins by hand until
blended. Combine 1/4 cup sugar with cinnamon in bowl. Using rounded
teaspoonfuls, shape cereal mixture into balls. Roll lightly in
cinnamon-sugar. Place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to
10 minutes or until bottoms are lightly brown. Let set four minutes before
removing. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
