Kohls Peanut Brittle Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cup: Sugar,
2 cup: Karo, (red label) syrup
1/2 cup: Hot water,
1: Lump of butter, about 1 tb
1/2 lbs: Or more raw peanuts rolled with a rolling pin,
1 tsp: Baking soda,
Directions:
Boil sugar, syrup, water, and butter until golden
brown stirring often. Add baking soda to the raw
peanuts. Grease a cookie sheet. Pour peanuts into the
syrup. Remove from the fire AT ONCE. Pour on on the
greased cookie sheet, smoothing over into a thin layer.
When cooled, crack up into serving pieces.
