Banana Orange Oatmeal Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cup: Orange juice,
1: Banana, chopped
1 tsp: Grated orange rind, opt.
Pinch salt,
1 1/3 cup: Quick-cooking rolled oats,
Pinch grated nutmeg,
Directions:
In saucepan, bring orange juice, banana, orange rind (if using) and
salt to boil; gradually stir in rolled oats. Cook, stirring, for 1
minute; remove from heat.
Stir in nutmeg; cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
Variation: Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal: Substitute 3 cups apple juice for
orange juice, rind and banana. Substitute 1/4 tsp. cinnamon for
nutmeg. Serve sprinkled with raisins, if desired. Typed in MMFormat
