3 tbsp: Vegetable oil,
3 lbs: Veal shanks, cut crosswise about 2 inches thick
10 3/4 ounce: Condensed onion soup,
1 medium: Tomato, chopped
1 cup: Dry white wine,
1/2 cup: Water, divided
2 tbsp: Water, divided
2 tbsp: Lemon juice,
1 tbsp: Chopped fresh parsley,
1/2 tsp: Garlic powder,
3 tbsp: Cornstarch,
29 ounce: Whole potatoes, drained
14 1/2 ounce: Diced carrots, drained
