Cranberry-almond Cereal Mix Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Regular Rolled Oats,
1 cup: Quick-Cooking Barley,
1 cup: Bulgur Or Cracked Wheat,
1 cup: Dried Cranberries Or,
Raisins,
1/2 cup: Toasted Sliced Almonds,
1/3 cup: Sugar,
1 tbsp: Ground Cinnamon,
1/4 tsp: Salt,
Milk, Optional
Directions:
Up to six months ahead: In an airtight storage container, stir
together oats, barley, bulgur, cranberries, almonds, sugar, cinnamon
and salt. Cover tightly; store in a cool, dry place for up to six
months. Makes about 4 2/3 cups mix (7 servings).
For 1 serving: Stir mix, in a large microwave-safe cereal bowl,
combine 3/4 cup water and 1/3 cup cereal mix. Cook, uncovered, on 50
percent power for 9 to 11 minutes or until cereal reaches desired
consistency, stirring once during cooking. Stir before serving. If
desired, serve with milk.
Nutrition information per serving: calories, 300; fat, 5 grams;
carbohydrate, 62 grams; cholesterol, 0 milligrams; sodium, 83
milligrams.
