Royal Frosting 02 - Country Living Recipe

Ingredients:
2 lbs: Confectioners sugar,
6 large: Egg whites, see Note
1 tsp: Cream of tartar,
Directions:
In medium-size bowl, combine confectioners sugar, egg whites, and
cream of tartar. With electric mixer, beat until thick. Cover tightly
with a damp towel while using to keep from drying out.
Note: If frosting is to be eaten, use meringue powder and follow
package instructions for Royal Frosting. Meringue powder can be
purchased wherever cake-decorating supplies are sold or by mail from
Wilton Industries, Inc.,
