Fattigmands Bakkelese Recipe

Ingredients:
10 each: Egg yolks, beaten with
10 tbsp: Sugar,
1/2 cup: Cream, thick
4 each: Egg whites, stiffly beaten
1/2 cup: Butter, melted - strained
1 tsp: Cardamom,
Citron or orange peel, crus hed
1 tbsp: Lemon juice,
Flour, to roll
Directions:
Roll and cut. Bake in deep fat.
Note: Calls for 1 to 2 t. cardamom and a little crushed citron or
orange peel. Fat at 375 F. ?
