Fresh Corn & Sausage Fritters Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: All-purpose Flour, sifted
1 tsp: Baking Powder,
1 tsp: Salt,
1/8 tsp: Pepper,
1/4 tsp: Paprika,
1 cup: Sausage, cooked and crumbled
1 cup: Fresh Corn off the cob,
2: Egg Yolks, beaten
2 tbsp: Milk,
2: Egg Whites, beaten stiff
Oil, for frying

Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder, and spices together in a mixing bowl. Add
sausage, corn, egg yolks, and milk; mix until blended. Fold in stiffly
beaten egg whites. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls into oil heated to
360 - 365 degrees. Cook 3 to 5 minutes, turning to brown on all
sides. Drain on paper towels.

Makes about 24 fritters
