Spicy Tortilla Soup Recipe

Yield: 6 Servings

Ingredients:
1/2 lbs: Lean ground pork,
1/2 cup: Chopped onion,
4 cup: Crushed canned tomatoes,
2 cup: Chicken broth,
8 ounce: Salsa, medium-hot
1 tsp: Ground cumin,
1 tsp: Chili powder,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1/2 tsp: Garlic powder,
1/2 tsp: Ground black pepper,
4: Corn tortillas, cut into thin strips

Directions:
Brown pork and onion over medium-high heat in large saucepan, stirring
occasionally. Add remaining ingredients except tortilla strips. Cover
and simmer 20 minutes. Stir tortilla strips into soup and simmer for
5-10 minutes more, until tortilla strips are softened. Serve hot.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes. Cooking Time: 20 minutes. Nutrition
