Homemade Applesauce Recipe

Ingredients:
8: McIntosh or other cooking apples, (2 3/4-lb), peeled and cut into chunks
1 1/2 cup: Water,
3/4 cup: Sugar,
pn Cinnamon,
Directions:
Combine apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon in lg. saucepan. Bring to
boil; reduce heat to med-low, cover and cook until water is absorbed,
20 to 25 mins. Cool 10 mins. Mash with potato masher or fork.
Refrigerate up to 1 wk. Makes 4 1/2 cups.
