Mothers Yum Yum Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

US MEASUREMENT
8 ounce: Raisins,
1 cup: Sugar,
1/4 cup: Shortening,
1 cup: Water,
1 1/2 cup: Flour,
1 tsp: Cinnamon,
1/2 tsp: Cloves,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1/2 tsp: Soda,

UK MEASUREMENTS
225 gram: Sultanas,
200 gram: Sugar,
250 milliliter: Water,
210 gram: Flour,
5 gram: Cinnamon,
3 gram: Cloves,
3 gram: Salt,
3 gram: Soda,

Directions:

Boil together raisins, sugar, shortening, and water. Allow to cool.
When cool, add remaining ingredients. Bake in moderate oven about 20
minutes.
