Jesses Chocolate Cake Recipe

Yield: 12 servings

Ingredients:
3/4 cup: Butter or marg.,
1 3/4 cup: Sugar,
2 each: Eggs,
1 tsp: Vanilla,
2 cup: Flour, sifted
3/4 cup: Cocoa, hershys powdered
1 1/4 tsp: Baking soda,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1 1/3 cup: Water,

Directions:
Recipe by: Hershey Cocoa pkg
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat
1 minute on medium speed.
Combine flour,cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add alternately with water to
butter mixture. Pour into 2 greased and floured cake pans. Bake at 350 for
35 - 40 minutes. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans. Frost.
Family recipe by Heather Smith; Jesse is my cooking daughter. She got this
off of an OLD Hersheys Cocoa tin.
