Yield: 4 servings
Recipe by luhu.jp

Ingredients:
2 cup: Sugar,
3/4 cup: Milk,
2 1/2 ounce: Hersheys baking chocolate,
2 tbsp: Light corn syrup,
1/4 tsp: Salt,
2 tbsp: Butter,
1 tsp: Vanilla,

Directions:
Recipe by: Hersheys Cocoa pkg
Combine sugar, milk, baking chocolate, corn syrup and salt in a
heavy 2-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly,
unti mixture boils. Cook, stirring occasionally, to 234 degrees F
(or until small amount dropped into cold water forms a soft ball).

Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. Do NOT stir. Allow fudge
to cool at room termperature without stirring until it reaches
110 degrees F. Beat until fudge thickens and loses some of its gloss.
Quickly pour fudge into a lightly buttered 8-inch square pan. About
1-1/2 pounds fudge.

I checked a 1930 edition of the "Hershey Recipe Book" for fudge
recipes.
It contains these recipes: Angel Fudge; Country Club Two Story Fudge;
Chocolate College Fudge; Chocolate Gelatine Fudge; Condensed Milk
Chocolate Syrup Fudge; Whipped Cream Fudge; Molasses Fudge; Cocoa
Fudge
(different from the one posted above); Sour Cream Fudge. The fudge
recipe I used to use from the Hersheys package contained
the light corn syrup, so I suppose what Ive posted might be what
youre
looking for. But if any of the others are of interest, Ill be happy
to post them.
