Barbecued (indoor) Country-style Spareribs - Sl 4/80 Recipe

Ingredients:
2 medium: Onions, thinly sliced
2 tbsp: Melted buttter or margarine,
1 large: Clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup: Celery, chopped
1 cup: Catsup,
3/4 cup: , water
1 tsp: Dry mustard,
1 tsp: Salt,
1/4 tsp: Pepper,
2 tbsp: Brown sugar,
2 tbsp: Vinegar,
2 tbsp: Lemon juice,
2 tbsp: Worcestershire sauce,
3 1/2 lbs: Country-style spareribs,
Directions:
Saute onion in butter until golden brown; stir in next 11 ingredients.
Bring sauce to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes.
Place ribs, meaty side up, on a rack in a shallow baking dish. Bake at
325 degrees F for about 2 hours or until well done, basting with sauce and
turning every 30 minutes. Yield: 4 servings.
