Brenda Langtons Apple Or Pear Sauce~ Recipe

Ingredients:
4 medium: Apples or pears, peeled,
Cored and,
Cut in 1-inch chunks, (8
Cups),
1/2 cup: Apple juice,
2 tbsp: Fresh lemon juice --,
, optional
1 tbsp: Honey,
1/4 tsp: Ground cinnamon,
1/4 cup: White wine, (optional)

Directions:
1. Bring fruit and apple juice to a boil in a medium-size saucepan.
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 20 to 25 minutes until fruit is very
soft.

2. Add lemon juice, honey and cinnamon. Puree fruit mixture in a
blender or food processor until smooth.

3. If using wine, return sauce to saucepan and add wine. Simmer for
3 to 5 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Per 1/2 cup serving: 155 cal, 0 g pro, 40 g car, 1 g fat, 0 mg chol,
1 mg sod.
