Western Ranch Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients:
1 package: Dry yeast,
1/2 cup: Warm water,
2 cup: Warm chicken or beef broth,
1/2 cup: Powdered milk,
1/4 cup: Margarine or hamburger greas,
1/4 cup: Honey,
1 each: Egg,
1/4 tsp: Salt,
2 cup: All purpose flour,
1 cup: Wheat germ,
1 cup: Corn meal,
2 cup: Bulgur, cracked wheat
4 cup: Whole wheat flour,

Directions:
In small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. In large bowl, combine
broth, powdered milk, maragrine/grease, honey, egg, and salt. Add
yeast and mix well. Stir in flour, corn meal, wheat germ and cracked
wheat. Nix well, add whole wheat flour, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing
well. Knead in final amounts of flour by hand, and continue kneading
for 5 minutes or until dough is not sticky. Roll to 1/2 inch, cut
into shapes. Place on greased baking sheet, cover lightly and let
rise 20 minutes. Bake at 300 for 1 hour. Turn off heat and let sit
in oven for at least an hour.

**You can add bacon bits or cooked liver to these biscuits to give it
a
more meaty western flavor**
