Mrs Babichs Cake^ Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cup: Cake flour,
1/2 cup: Butter or crisco,
1 1/4 cup: Sugar,
1 tsp: Salt, or less
1/2 cup: Milk,
3 tsp: Baking powder,
2: Eggs,
1/3 cup: More milk,
1 tsp: Vanilla,
Directions:
Sift flour, then measure. cream butter and add flour, sugar, salt and
milk. Beat this two minutes. Gradually add remaining ingredients and
beat two minutes longer. Pour into a greased pan. Put in a moderate
oven. Bakes in 30-35 minutes. Good!
