Oyster Roast - 2 Recipe

Directions:
Put one quart of oysters in a basin with their own liquor and let them
boil three or four minutes; the oysters should plump and the edges
curl. Season with a little salt, pepper, and three tablespoons of
butter. Serve on buttered toast.

Daves note: Dont know why they called this an Oyster "roast." The
oysters are simmered, not roasted.
