Savoiarde (lady Fingers) Recipe

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup: Crisco, melted
Finely chopped,
1 cup: Milk,
5 cup: Flour,
1 1/2 cup: Sugar,
8 tsp: Baking powder,
2: Oranges, juice and rind,
3: Eggs, beaten
Directions:
Mix baking powder with flour. Mix all other ingredients along
with beaten eggs. Add flour mixture and mix: dough will be a
little on sticky side. DO NOT KNEAD DOUGH. Spoon it into powdered
sugar and shape long like lady fingers. Be sure to grease and flour
cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees in preheated oven for 15
minutes. Store in Tupperware pan, will stay fresh for about a
month, if they last that long!
