Savory Seafood Cheesecake^ Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Finely crushed wheat thins,
Drained,
2 tbsp: Melted butter,
2: Eggs,
1 small: Onion, halved
1/2 cup: Sour cream,
2 package: , (8oz) cream cheese,
1/2 cup: Shredded cheddar cheese,
Softened,
1 tbsp: Dried dill, crushed
2 can: , (6 1/2 oz) minced clams,
1/4 tsp: Salt,
Shrimp or crabmeat, well
1/4 tsp: Hot pepper sauce,
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F.
Butter a 1 1/2 qt. ovenproof mixing bowl with butter, then line with
buttered waxed paper.
Process until finely chopped, the onion. Then add remaining
ingredients except the butter and cracker crumbs and process until
smooth. Pour into dish, then top with crumbs.
Place in a roasting pan and add boiling water to a depth of 2". Bake
until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, approximately
one hour.
Turn off heat and let cheesecake stand in oven 30 minutes. Remove to a
wire rack and let cool to room temperature. Cover and chill until
cold.
To unmold, run a butter knife or spatula along edge of bowl; invert
onto serving plate.
