Glazed Doughnuts Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Milk,
1/4 cup: Lard or crisco, melted
1: Yeast cake,
1/2 tsp: Nutmeg,
1/4 cup: Water,
1: Egg, beaten
1 1/2 cup: Flour,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
Directions:
Cook milk until warm, add yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup water, then beat
in 1 1/2 Cups flour. Let rise for 2 hours or until doubled in size.
Then add remaining ingredients and let rise for 2 hours or until
doubled in size. Roll dough 1/4-inches thick, cut with donut cutter,
let rise until double.
Fry in hot grease. Then dip in hot water and roll in powdered sugar.
VARIATIONS/COMMENTS You can also dip them in sugar/cinnamon.
