Strawberry Cream Sandwiches Recipe
Yield: 2 sandwichesRecipe by luhu.jp
Ingredients:
4 ounce: Whipped cream cheese,
1: Egg,
2 tbsp: Strawberry jelly,
2 tbsp: Milk,
4 slice: Bread,
1 tbsp: Margarine or oil,
8: Fresh strawberries, sliced
2 tbsp: Confectioners sugar,
Directions:
Mix the cream cheese with the strawberry jelly. Spread the mixture on
4 slices of bread, and lay half of the sliced strawberries on 2 of the
slices. Place the other 2 slices on top to form 2 sandwiches. In a
small bowl, beat the egg with the milk. Heat the margarine or oil in
a frying pan over medium heat. Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture
to cover, and fry until golden brown on both sides. Top with
remaining strawberries and dust with confectioners sugar; serve
