Whole Wheat-banana Pancakes Recipe
Yield: 6 ServingsRecipe by luhu.jp
Ingredients:
1 cup: All-purpose flour,
1 cup: Whole wheat flour,
1 tsp: Baking soda,
1 tsp: Baking powder,
1 tsp: Salt,
3 tbsp: Honey,
3 tbsp: Sugar,
1: Egg,
3 tbsp: Butter, melted
1 cup: Milk plus whatever more you need to achieve correct texture,
2: Bananas, older bananas seem to taste better
Directions:
I mix all the dry ingredients, then add the egg, honey, butter, and milk.
Finally, I blend in the bananas. I use a cordless beater, which is not
capable of going too fast. Makes about 20 4" pancakes, I guess. I usually
make "silver dollars" for my kids, so I dont count em.
Ive also substituted apples (2), and a tsp of cinnamon for bananas, with
good results.
