Wilderness Hash Recipe

Ingredients:
1 lbs: Bacon,
2 medium: Onions, diced
3 lbs: Ground beef,
3 can: , (no. 2-1/2) tomatoes
4 can: , (no. 2) pinto beans
1 can: Tomato sauce,
Salt, pepper, tabasco sauce and chili powder to taste
Directions:
Dice bacon and fry until brown. Remove bacon; add onions to bacon fat and
stir until wilted. Remove onions. Saut
meat in bacon fat until it loses
its pink color. Then put all ingredients together; season to taste. Add
other ingredients; simmer for 30 to 45 minutes. Serve in bowls. Yields 20
servings and freezes well.
