Winter Fruit Compote Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Chicken broth, (College
Inn),
16 ounce: Peaches, sliced, drained
3 tbsp: Sugar, light brown
20 ounce: Pineapple chunks, drained
2 tbsp: Lemon juice,
17 ounce: Cherries, dark sweet pitted
1 tsp: Cornstarch,
Drained,
1/4 tsp: Allspice, ground
6 ounce: Apricots, dried
Directions:
In 3-quart oven-proof casserole, stir together broth, brown sugar, lemon
juice, cornstarch and allspice; add fruits, stirring well. Cover; bake at
350 degree for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve warm as a side dish
with poultry or pork or as a dessert.
